Course Care and Golf Etiquette
All players are expected to have knowledge and of and observe the Etiquette of Golf, and observe these at all times. To view Etiquette and Safety details, click here.
The club requires that the Dress Code is observed by organisers and golfers, both on the course and in the Clubhouse. For more detailed information on the dress code click here.
With the Club's agreement, signage may be displayed around the course. Erection and removal of banners on the course will be undertaken by our ground staff. It is the responsibility of the organiser that all signs are collected from the Club (no later than the Friday immediately following).
On Your Golf Day at Werribee Park
Prior to Golf
Ample parking is available at the course. Registration tables can be arranged at the Clubhouse or Pro Shop. Your guests can limber up prior to the Werribee Park course with a warm-up on our Practice Range and/or on our two practice putting greens. Coaching Clinic conducted by our Club Professional can be provided (by prior arrangement) for Corporate golfers.
Our Professional's Shop is open for your guests, and a Professional will be on hand to provide a brief of the day and help you relay any instructions to your guests.
It is recommended that an Ambrose, Par or Stableford competition be played (not Individual Stroke) to enable the efficient completion of rounds, and to maximise the enjoyment of your guests. A full shotgun start necessitating full closure of the course will only be considered for a minimum of 80 players.
On the Course
Your guests can enjoy novelty events such as "Longest Drive”, "Nearest the Pin' and "Straightest Drive”, or to provide that little extra competition you may consider our "Beat the Pro” where your players test their skill against our Professional to land the ball on the green on a selected Par 3, or beat them on a Long Drive. If you are fund raising for a charity, the Professionals can be utilized to ‘buy a drive’ on a hole.
After the Round
Following their game, your guests have full access to our clubhouse facilities to refresh themselves prior to dinner.
A range of menus and dining options can be arranged. These can be as simple as a pre-round sandwiches or sausage sizzle or a full dinner post round. A variety of menus is available and can be tailored to suit.
