Hole 18

Par 4

Men: 310m, index 12

Women: 274m, index 7.

This is one of the signature holes on the course. The fairway is bordered on the right by the old river cliff and the hole has a shallow dog leg to the right. The green has a narrow opening and is surrounded by shallow, but tricky bunkers. With a tailing wind long hitters can attack the green from the tee. For most golfers a drive using a wood or long iron to the centre of the fairway will see them with an approach of 100 or so metres.
The green slopes uphill from the front and falls to the right. It is better to miss the green to the right rather than the left side. A careful read of your putt is necessary as there are hidden borrows in the green. Par is a good result.
