Hole 2

Par 4

Men: 354m index 14

Women: 295m index 11

When standing on the tee, the hole looks reasonably straight forward. When the prevailing wind is coming from behind, the hole often does not play to its true length. The shortest way to the green means bringing the left hand side fairway bunkers into play. The smart play off the tee is to aim slightly right of centre but avoiding the tree line down the right side protecting OOB beyond the boundary fence.
The approach shot needs to be thought about as deep bunkers on both sides of the green will penalise any wayward iron shots. Over the back of the green is just as bad. A good tip is to favour hitting short of the pin leaving an uphill chip and run or an uphill putt.
