Members Guests
Handicaps
Visitors and guests maximum handicaps are 36 for men and 45 for women.
Clubhouse
Members introducing guests into the clubhouse MUST enter the visitor’s name and address in the visitors’ book before using clubhouse facilities. (Liquor Control Act requirement). A guest may not attend the clubhouse on more than 12 occasions in any one year unless they are immediate family, fiancé or fiancée of a member.
Guests in Competitions
Guests with a registered handicap are encouraged to play in Twilight, Tuesday, Wednesday (Ladies), Thursday, Sunday and Public Holiday competitions as a guest of a member or as a visitor from another club (Subject to provisions of Article 33 of the club by-laws).
Special guests may be invited to play in other competitions with the permission of the President or Captain, however, these invitations will normally be restricted to Presidents or Captains from other clubs, overseas, interstate or country visitors.
Approval for Guests/Visitors to play in Saturday competitions must be sought from the President or Captain at least 24 hours in advance of the competition. Guests/Visitors are discouraged on Medal Days and before 11am on all Saturdays.
On payment of the approved fee plus the entry fee, the guest/visitor may play in the competition of the day.
The “Approved Weekend Fee” set by the Board for 2009/2010 is $20.00.
The “Approved Weekday (Monday to Friday) Fee” set by the Board for 2009/2010 is $20.00
Guests/Visitors will not be eligible to enter competitions listed as major events.
With the exception of Open Events, club members only are eligible to win the daily trophies. However, a guest/visitor returning the best score for the day will be awarded a voucher redeemable at the Pro shop.
Guest Days
Guest Days, as programmed for a Wednesday or Saturday, are designed to allow members to promote fellowship at the club. Unless otherwise listed on the entry sheet, only the normal competition fee will be charged for members’ guests.
Guests playing Socially
An adult member may introduce (3) guests (maximum) to the club at any one time and pay a reduced green fee for each guest, provided the member plays with and is responsible for those guests.
Junior members may introduce one junior guest and is subject to the conditions above.
